Countrywood PTA is excited for the start of this year's PARP (Pick a Reading Partner) Program! The theme for this year's program is "Saddle Up and Read!" PARP Week kicks off with our Family Paint Night on Friday, 2/1 at 6pm in the Countrywood Cafeteria (advance registration is required). In-school and At Home activities continue the week of 2/4. To keep the excitement going, we have daily prizes and giveaways as well as Guest Readers all week long.
PARP is a statewide program sponsored by the NYS PTA with the goal of inspiring Reading Partners (a parent, guardian ,grandparent, aunt, uncle, older sibling, cousin, etc.) to read together with their children for at least 15 minutes daily.
