Countrywood PTA is proud to participate once again in NYS PTA's Pick a Reading Partner (PARP) program. "Saddle Up and Read!" is the theme for this year's PARP Week (2/4-2/8/19) at Countrywood. PARP is a statewide program with the goal of inspiring Parents and Reading Partners to read together with their children for at least 15 minutes daily. "Reading Is Our Superpower!"
The theme for Countrywood PTA's PARP Week 2018 is "Reading Is Our Superpower!". The week-long program officially launches the evening of Friday, February 2nd at our first ever Book Tasting Night. From Friday, February 2nd through Friday, February 9th, Parents/Reading Partners are encouraged to read with their children for at least 15 minutes EVERY day. We have a lot of fun activities planned for students and their Parents/Reading Partners to participate in at home and at school. There will be giveaways and prizes awarded for participation throughout the week.
