Countrywood PTA is proud to participate once again in NYS PTA's Pick a Reading Partner (PARP) program. "Saddle Up and Read!" is the theme for this year's PARP Week (2/4-2/8/19) at Countrywood. PARP is a statewide program with the goal of inspiring Parents and Reading Partners to read together with their children for at least 15 minutes daily. Dive In and Explore Reading!
The theme for Countrywood PTA's PARP Week 2017 is "Dive In and Explore Reading!". The program officially launches the evening of Thursday, January 26th at Storybook Night. From Friday, January 27th through Friday, February 3rd, Parents/Reading Partners are encouraged to read with their children for at least 15 minutes EVERY day. We have a lot of fun activities planned for students and their Parents/Reading Partners to participate in at home and at school. There will be prizes awarded for participation throughout the week.
